More about Tara…
Drawing and painting became my place of freedom and offloading for my mental health. I would listen to music while letting my mind run free on a page or canvas for hours. Abstract or structured, it was all a personal space no-one could penetrate as I journeyed through my imagination, fuelling my soul for each day. Moving homes more than 15 times in my life, I struggled to find my grounding. Art was something I could always take with me, reminding me that this was a part of me that never changed.
Art feels like home for me.
After having children, I have taught myself watercolour. It is a medium that fits perfectly as I can pick up and put down easily, without kids interfering with my materials. It is the most beautiful medium, creating flowing, soft textures, while also creating the stunning contrast details to make your home “pop.”
The most important element is that they mean the most .. to you!
Home is in your heart.
Tara.
